Innovation doesn’t ‘grow’ in a lab, but springs from the interaction between people. On the work floor, contact with customers and suppliers, in cooperation with training and research institutes. These insights call for management styles and work environments conductive to openness and trust. Workplace Innovation is the recognition that technology alone is insufficient to transform invention into innovation.
The strategic agenda to attract the head offices of multinational organisations to the Netherlands identifies bottlenecks and makes recommendations to create an attractive climate for investment and head office location. Head offices are the strategic centres of an organisation and house the main corporate functions as well as the board of directors. As such they are key player in stimulating work place innovation.
