Water – what would we do without it, how do we cope with too much of it? Our body, land, transport and industry all depend on it. Water is essential to our lives and health. From the supply of clean drinking water, the state of our oceans for fishing, to the impact of extreme rainfall or drought on our agriculture and safety. Water is as versatile as your innovation can be.

The sector Water consists of three world-class clusters: Water Technology, Delta Technology and Maritime. The Water Technology cluster provides clean, fresh water of the highest quality. The Delta Technology cluster makes living in areas below sea-level possible. The Maritime cluster combines a diverse fleet of ships with Europe’s biggest port and inland shipping capacity.
