Innovation in construction – part 1

I’m working for a large construction company, not the type of company normally associated with innovation at the Binnenhof. Which is pretty strange as a lot of architects  are considered innovative or even visionary. Today I’ll show you one of my favorite TEDxAmsterdam videos featuring Bjarke Ingels a Danish architect.

For me Bjarke Ingels TEDx talk is all about creativity, innovation and sustainability. In my opinion sustainable development is not a a static moment, nor is it about feeling guilty. For me sustainability is all about movement, change and adjusting to the circumstances. It also shows that the Dutch may think they are pretty innovative and advanced, but looking abroad a little bit less pretentions…

PS I tried to embed the video, but for some reason both with Firefox and Chrome pushing the update button of WordPress removes the embed code. But clicking the link should do the trick too.
